Internet

Here it is the end of June and I finally have internet in my home. I know it's about time. I thought I would post more blog entries but I am finding plenty of things to do with my time. I am just now sitting down to surf the net and check my email for the first time since the connection has been established two weeks ago. The funny thing is that after what seemed like a million calls to Quest and talking to 5 different people and two different locations I finally go some one who would help me out. No one seamed to understand that the telephone wires from all my Jacks (except the one I wanted to use) exited my house and attached to nothing. The response I got from Quest is "your connection is established". I wonder, to where because my house had no phone box. So to make a long story short I finally got a tech out and found out that only four of the five jacks made it outside. Low and behold the one in my living room where I wanted to set up my wireless modem was the one that didn't make it out side. Just my luck. So now I have my modem on my kitchen counter which I very much dislike, but i have wireless internet and that is all that matters.
