Jiffy Lube

Imagine, walking into Jiffy Lube, scanning where to sit because they bombarded me at my car, not even letting me get out of it. Looking around I see two children one with a black cape on the floor, the other sitting on a chair and what I assumed to be their mother accross the room. The child on the floor looks up and said, "there's spiders in the cave". I stupidly respond, "really, where's the cave". The next thing I know I am scared to sit down anywhere and his bother is standing as close as he can get to me explaining his picture that has been drawn on a piece of chipboard, and I am learning all about the six armed man that has six swords and his amy is fighting them. When the Jiffy Lube workers tell the mother her car is ready and they leave, I tell my self that is why I am usually quiet when I go into places. Even though they were cute I was amazed at how I got two new new friends so quickly.

Yes that is right, I went to see Stephanie Myer give a book talk about her new book The Host. I even started reading it while I was there. Don't be shocked now. Just so you know reading her books has not been a priority, in reality I can't get my self to pick them up. I go through the trouble of borrowing them. Then, I return them unread and have to explaine that I didn't read it and come up with a good excuse why. So after not wanting to read any of them, I got my own personalized copy of The Host signed by her after waiting in line for 1 hour and 45 min.
